About Caasi

Caasi is one of Britain's leading professional bellydancers and is also trained in ballet, contemporary and jazz dance. She has captivated audiences worldwide, appearing at all kinds of events to great acclaim, and has appeared on BBC and MTV television and in pop videos. She recently danced at the Virgin Media launch party and at a highly exclusive event for MySpace, and has performed for many celebrities including Simon LeBon of Duran Duran and Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones.

She is an elegant and exciting dancer who has been described as dynamic, vibrant and sensual. Classically trained, she performs a blend of Egyptian, Lebanese and Turkish dance with a strong dash of her own inimitable style.

Caasi loves to choreograph her own shows yet is equally at ease when improvising. She is adept at performing with live musicians, whether a full band or a single drummer, or will provide her own performance music on CD.

Authenticity and good technique are of the utmost importance to Caasi and her performances are always tasteful and artistic as well as being highly entertaining.

Caasi is also in great demand as a teacher and always aims to share her knowledge and love for bellydancing with great integrity and enthusiasm.
